शिमला : शिमला सदर थाने का सब इंस्पेक्टर रिश्वतखोरी के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया है। जानकारी के अनुसार कि आरोपी कृष्ण लाल निवासी गांव भंवर, पीओ मलोह, थाना सुंदरनगर, जिला मंडी, हिमाचल प्रदेश 56 वर्ष, जो वर्तमान में थाना सदर शिमला में सब इंस्पेक्टर/आईओ के पद पर तैनात है को 50000 की रिश्वत लेते विजिलेंस ने गिरफ्तार किया है। विजिलेंस ने आरोपी को पीएस सदर शिमला के आईओ रूम में रंगेहाथ पकड़ा है। शिकायत कर्ता ने आरोप लगाया है कि एक आपराधिक मामले में उसके भाई को बचाने के एवज में रिश्वत की मांग की गई थी। विजिलेंस ने आरोपी के खिलाफ पीसी (संशोधित) अधिनियम, 2018 के तहत मामला दर्ज किया है।
विजिलेंस द्वारा जारी रिपोर्ट :-
A Case FIR No. 03/2022 dated 13.07.2022 u/s 7 of PC (Amended) Act, 2018 PS,SV&ACB, Shimla, has been registered against, Sh. Krishan Lal S/o late Sh. Thebar Ram R/o Vill Bhanwar, PO Maloh, PS Sundernagar, District Mandi, HP aged 56 years presently posted as Sub Inspector/ IO in Police Station Sadar Shimla, has been caught red handed while demanding and accepting Rs. 50000/- from the complainant, in lieu of favouring her in a criminal case registered against her brother in Police Station Sadar Shimla, as the accused is IO of the case and also evading her arrest from the criminal case. The accused was caught red handed in IO room at PS Sadar Shimla. Investigation of the case is in progress.
