Shimla : SAGES inaugurated its much-awaited Annual Flower Festival Competition at the historic Gaiety Theatre Complex today. This two-day event, being held on 27th and 28th May 2025, brings together the vibrant creativity of school students from across the region.
The competition showcases six exciting events, ranging from Rangoli making, floral arrangements, and eco-friendly crafts to painting and drawing on environmental themes. These events are designed to foster awareness about nature and sustainability among young minds while giving them a platform to express their artistic talents.
Many students participated with enthusiasm, presenting beautifully curated exhibits and thoughtful interpretations of environmental issues. The Gaiety Theatre was abuzz with color, fragrance, and artistic flair, as students creatively blend flowers, colors, and messages of conservation.
SAGES expressed gratitude to the participating schools, teachers, and volunteers, stating, “This festival is not just about flowers, but about sowing the seeds of environmental consciousness in young hearts.”
