Shimla : Rotary Club Shimla Hill Queens organized a highly engaging and educational Inter-School Quiz Competition for Government Schools on the premises of Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Lakkar Bazar, Shimla. The event aimed at encouraging academic curiosity, team spirit, and general awareness among school students.
Seven government schools participated in quiz.
The competition was conducted by dynamic Quiz Master Ms. Padmini Parmar, who presented an intellectually stimulating quiz comprising topics from general knowledge, science, current affairs, and history. The quiz was based on a well-defined syllabus and structured rules that were shared with the schools in advance.
President Rtn. Maala Singh extended her sincere gratitude to Ms. Padmini Parmar for conducting the event with great zeal and professionalism. She also thanked all school principals and teachers for sending their students and supporting this meaningful educational initiative.
Special appreciation was extended to Dr. Suman Machhan, Principal of Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Lakkar Bazar, and her team of teachers for their warm hospitality and cooperation in hosting the event.
Prizes were distributed by Rtn. Ruchira Tangri, Assistant Governor, Zone 1. She lauded the efforts of the students and encouraged them to continue participating in such intellectually enriching activities.
