शिमला : Rotary Club Shimla Hill Queens proudly donated two advanced infusion machines to the High Dependency Unit (HDU) of IGMC Shimla. The machines were formally handed over to Dr. Aman Madhaik, Deputy Medical Superintendent, IGMC, along with the nursing staff of the HDU. This meaningful contribution was facilitated by Rtn. Ruchira Tangri and Rtn. Atul Tangri on behalf of the club.
Infusion machines are essential medical devices used to administer fluids, medications, or nutrients directly into a patient’s bloodstream with precision and control. They play a critical role in intensive and high-dependency care, where timely and accurate delivery of medication can be life-saving.
This donation was made in loving memory of Late Lalit Mohan Tangri, father of Rtn. Atul Tangri, as a heartfelt tribute to his life and legacy. The initiative embodies both personal remembrance and a deep sense of community service.
President Rtn. Maala Singh expressed sincere gratitude to Rtn. Atul Tangri and Rtn. Ruchira Tangri for their generous gesture, and reaffirmed the club’s commitment to strengthening healthcare infrastructure and uplifting the underserved.
Members present at the occasion included Rtn. Maala Singh, Rtn. Ruchira Tangri, Rtn. Aruna Sharma, Rtn. Neelam Gupta, Rtn. Harpreet Sembi, and Rtn. Manjusha Pathania.
RCS Hill Queens continues its mission of service above self, striving to bring impactful and sustainable change in the community.
